Bhoiravi Achenbach was born in Vienna into a family of musicians and received her first violin training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Oberschützen campus.
In 2000, she began studying as a junior student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Eugenia Polatschek, later continuing with Prof. Igor Ozim and Prof. Klara Flieder at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She completed both her bachelor's degree (2013) and her master's degree (2015) in violin performance with distinction.
She subsequently held positions with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, and in 2022 qualified to perform with the Vienna State Opera.
Since July 2025, she has been a permanent member of the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Concert tours have taken her across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
As a soloist, she has performed with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bregenz Musical Society, playing works by Mendelssohn, Saint-Saëns, Khachaturian, and Mozart. Highlights of her career include performances for Roberta Flack, Carl Lewis, and Mikhail Gorbachev.
